Our Story

Founded in October 2007 by Rekha Suryanarayana and Angela Stephens, It’s A Sensory World! was born from a vision to create a welcoming space for children with special needs. As the first recreational sensory gym in Texas and the second in the nation, this nonprofit has evolved to offer unique sensory-based educational and recreational programs. Serving families from over 70 zip codes in North Texas, It’s A Sensory World! is dedicated to providing heartfelt, high-quality services that celebrate neurodiversity.
