Our Story

In 2010, a dedicated group of volunteers recognized the urgent need to assist unwanted animals in Evansville and beyond. Led by Brie Stafford, this compassionate team began their mission at Evansville Animal Control, striving to prevent the euthanasia of homeless animals. Formally established on November 15, 2010, It Takes A Village Canine Rescue has since rescued over 10,000 animals, providing them with care and finding them loving homes.

Impact

Since its inception, ITV has positively impacted the lives of over 11,555 animals, achieving an impressive live release rate of 99.96%.
