Our Story

The Isleton Museum, built in 1926, stands as a testament to the resilience of the community after a devastating fire. Originally serving as a Chinese Language School and community meeting space, it was purchased by the San Francisco Bing Kong Tong in 1934. In 1994, the museum was entrusted to the Isleton Brannan-Andrus Historical Society, which has since dedicated itself to renovating and maintaining this vital educational resource.

Impact

By preserving the unique history of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, the Isleton Museum fosters community understanding and promotes tourism.
