Our Story

Founded in 1981, Isles, Inc. is a community development and environmental organization based in Trenton, New Jersey. With a mission to foster self-reliant families and healthy, sustainable communities, Isles designs and develops effective services that support this mission and shares what they learn with others who can make a difference.

Impact

Isles has positively impacted over 1,200 students through education and job training, received $7 million in funding for neighborhood revitalization, saved 660 homes from foreclosure, and established 200 community gardens.
