Island Dog

Our Story

Island Dog Incorporated is a dedicated animal welfare organization based in Puerto Rico, focusing on building animal-friendly communities through essential spay and neuter programs. Since 2006, the organization has worked tirelessly to prevent unwanted births and reduce the homeless animal population on the island.

Impact

By sterilizing just one dog, Island Dog prevents that dog from producing an average of 16 unwanted puppies each year, ultimately saving over 10,000 puppies and kittens from suffering and dying on the streets and beaches of Puerto Rico annually.
