Irreducible Grace Foundation

Our Story

Irreducible Grace Foundation (IGF) was founded in 2012 by a dedicated group of educators, led by Dr. Darlene Fry. Recognizing the alarming racial disparities in graduation rates, IGF focuses on creating safe spaces for youth of color, particularly those with foster care backgrounds. Through listening sessions, the foundation learned about the unique challenges these young individuals face and has since committed to providing support through mentoring, life skills, and self-care practices via the arts.

Impact

IGF has made significant strides in supporting youth in chronic need, helping them develop essential skills to cope with stress and trauma. By empowering young people to take on leadership roles, IGF fosters a sense of community and encourages them to help others facing similar struggles.
