Our Story
Iringa Hope has been transforming lives in the Iringa District of Tanzania since 2007 by developing village micro-loan funds. In partnership with the Diocese of Iringa and the University of Iringa, the organization has expanded its reach to 38 villages, impacting over 20,000 people through cooperatives and Integrated Development Centers.
Impact
Members of Iringa Hope have tripled their agricultural yields, resulting in an average family income increase of 180%. With a 95% repayment rate on over 2,000 loans, the initiative has created more than 1,500 jobs and significantly increased maize prices.
