On September 2, 2017, nearly 70,000 people united in a powerful wave for the children at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. This moment marked the beginning of a legacy of hope and philanthropy within the Hawkeye community. The Iowa Wave Shirt was created to celebrate this event and raise funds for the children at the hospital. Thousands of supporters have since purchased merchandise, proving that together, they can make a significant difference in the lives of these young patients.
