Founded in 1997 by Ms. Alma Venisee, Investing In Our Youth began as a small initiative to uplift young girls in the community through the "Girls With Power" program. This initiative quickly blossomed into a comprehensive organization dedicated to supporting both girls and boys. With the opening of a second center in Atlanta, Georgia in 2012, IOY has expanded its reach, helping youth overcome societal challenges and achieve their dreams.
IOY collaborates with parents, schools, community leaders, and businesses to empower youth and families. Many participants have successfully graduated, avoided the juvenile justice system, and transitioned into fulfilling careers.
