Invest for Better was founded in 2021 by Ellen Remmer and Janine Firpo, evolving from a successful project at The Philanthropic Initiative. Initially launched as in-person Circles, the program adapted to a virtual format during the pandemic, allowing for greater reach and engagement. Since then, over 1000 women have participated in our Circles and courses, fostering a community dedicated to values-aligned investing.
With over 90% of members taking actionable steps during their Circle experience, and more than 50% investing within six months, the results speak for themselves. The organization has trained over 150 women as Circle Leaders, creating a ripple effect of empowerment and financial literacy.
