Founded in 2015 by Yukako Satone, Ria Hawks, and Brandy Godsil, Intertwine Arts emerged from a passion for weaving and a commitment to accessibility. Originally named SAORI Arts NYC, the organization was inspired by the SAORI weaving philosophy, which celebrates individuality and creativity. Over the years, especially during the pandemic, Intertwine Arts adapted by offering virtual workshops and innovative weaving techniques, reflecting its growth and dedication to inclusivity in the fiber arts community.
