About the Interscholastic Equestrian Association
The Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) was founded in 2002 to create competitive and educational opportunities for young equestrian riders. With over 14,500 members across 46 states, the IEA supports three disciplines: Hunt Seat, Western, and Dressage.
Impact of the IEA
Each season, the IEA awards $1.5 million in cash and renewable collegiate scholarships, empowering young equestrians to pursue their educational and competitive dreams. The Benevolent Fund further assists riders and coaches in need.
