Assistance For New Americans And Refugees

Our Story

The Interreligious Food Consortium was established in 1982 by six small churches to combat food insecurity. Over the years, it has expanded its reach to support 20-30 under-resourced food pantries and senior housing facilities, while also assisting crisis response providers. The IFC plays a crucial role in connecting individuals with local food resources, particularly for refugee and immigrant populations.

Our Impact

Each year, the IFC serves over 10,000 individuals, distributing thousands of pounds of food and providing essential door-to-door deliveries, especially during the pandemic.
