Founded in 2011 by Eric Eisenman, International Veterinary Outreach began as a student club at UC Davis, addressing the urgent need for veterinary care in economically disadvantaged communities in Latin America. Since becoming a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2012, IVO has focused on providing sustainable veterinary services and training programs.
Over the past 11 years, IVO has provided veterinary care to over 9,300 animals and trained more than 930 students across six countries, emphasizing community empowerment and sustainable solutions.
