Founded in June 1974 on the Standing Rock Reservation, the International Indian Treaty Council (IITC) unites over 5000 representatives from 98 Indigenous Nations. This organization champions the sovereignty and self-determination of Indigenous Peoples, ensuring the recognition and protection of their rights, treaties, traditional cultures, and sacred lands.
