About International Children’s Media Center

The International Children’s Media Center (ICMC) was founded in 2010 by Nicole Dreiske, a digital media expert and educational innovator. This organization focuses on humanizing the way children engage with digital devices, emphasizing the importance of how youth interact with screens rather than just what they watch.

Impact of ICMC

ICMC has successfully reached tens of thousands of students, parents, and educators through its Screen Smart® residencies, effectively closing the achievement gap for underserved children. The International Children’s Film Festival (ICFilmFest) has showcased 80 films from 36 countries, engaging children and families in critical discussions about media.

Why Donate to ICMC?

Donating to ICMC supports the mission of transforming e-learning and humanizing technology use for children. Contributions help bring innovative educational programs to underserved communities, fostering empathy, literacy, and emotional intelligence in the next generation.
