Our Story
Interlocking Communities, Inc. began as a small group from a church reaching out to immigrant neighbors, helping them acclimate to their new environment. Initially operating informally as St. James Meadowcreek International Community, the organization focused on teaching English as a Second Language and providing academic assistance to struggling children. Officially incorporated in September 2002, ICI is dedicated to supporting families in Gwinnett and surrounding areas through education-focused programs offered free of charge.
Impact
For over 22 years, ICI has partnered with Gwinnett County Public Schools to provide free academic assistance and English Language Learning classes, significantly impacting the educational success of children and adults in the community.
