Founded in 1984, Interfaith Volunteer Care Givers of Greater New Haven emerged from a vision to support seniors through care and companionship. Initially a program under Downtown Cooperative Ministries, IVCG became one of the first 'Faith in Action' programs sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Today, it stands as an independent nonprofit dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors in the Greater New Haven area.
