Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake
EIN: 46-3399793 · Annapolis, MD
Our Story
Interfaith Partners for the Chesapeake (IPC) began with a passionate group of individuals at the 2004 National Council of Churches 'Holy Waters' conference in Annapolis, Maryland. In 2010, they founded the Chesapeake Covenant Community, which evolved into IPC in 2013 to embrace the diverse faith communities of the Chesapeake region. IPC believes in the transformative power of faith to foster respect for our environment and future generations.
Our Impact
IPC raises awareness about the vital role faith communities play in restoring clean water and promoting environmental justice. By providing hands-on assistance, IPC helps congregations implement healing projects like rain gardens and tree plantings, directly benefiting their communities.
