Our Story
The Interfaith Food Pantry of the Oranges (IFPO) is a volunteer-powered organization dedicated to alleviating food insecurity in Orange, East Orange, and West Orange, NJ. Established nearly 30 years ago through a collaboration of four faith-based congregations, IFPO has grown significantly, now serving an average of 650 clients and their families each week.
Impact
In 2023, IFPO recorded 25,000 pantry visits, marking a 20% increase from the previous year. The pantry distributed 500,000 diapers, supporting over 400 babies each month, and has doubled its weekly distribution since the pandemic.
