The Interfaith Committee for Social Services was founded in 2017 by Kathleen Megan, Judy Fenney, and various faith-based groups in response to the growing needs of the homeless community in Delray Beach, Florida. After the Caring Kitchen program reduced its services, this committee stepped in to fill the gap, becoming a 501c3 organization in 2019.
Through the establishment of a mobile shower truck program, the Interfaith Committee has provided essential hygiene services that empower the homeless community to achieve self-sufficiency.
