Our Story
The Interchurch Food Pantry of Johnson County began in 1983 in a small basement closet, serving just 128 families annually. Today, it has grown to support up to 150 families each day, thanks to a partnership with Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and a new facility that enhances operations.
Impact
In 2023, the pantry distributed an astounding 2.1 million pounds of food, equating to 1.8 million meals, addressing food insecurity for 38,469 households.
