Founded in 1969, the Institute of Positive Education (IPE) is a dedicated community service organization committed to delivering African-Centered education to children and families in the Greater Chatham Community of Chicago. Over the past fifty years, IPE has established a pre-school, elementary school, after-school programs, summer camps, and a teacher training center, enriching the lives of countless families.
Currently, IPE operates the New Concept School, the IPE Unity/Nsoromma After-School Program, and the Zaidi Shule Artist Summer Camp, addressing the needs of working parents seeking academic and cultural enrichment for their children.
