Our Story
The Institute for the Redesign of Learning (IRL) was founded in 1974 by Dr. Nancy J. Lavelle, starting with just four students in a church in Alhambra, California. Over the years, IRL has grown significantly, expanding its services to empower individuals with disabilities to take charge of their learning and lives.
