Our Story

Founded in 2018, Insight Colearning Center is a non-profit, learner-centered school dedicated to meeting the unique needs of students and their communities. With a collaborative approach involving experienced educators, students, and caregivers, Insight has developed an evidence-based educational model that prioritizes understanding and engagement. The vision is clear: to equip students with the skills and confidence to thrive in their communities. Over the years, Insight has proudly served more than 50 students and celebrated its third graduating class in May 2022, all while providing sliding scale tuition to ensure accessibility for every family.

Impact

At Insight, students often arrive with a natural curiosity and a desire to explore their interests. Traditional schooling can stifle this enthusiasm, but at Insight, teens discover an intellectual home. The curriculum emphasizes deep learning and interdisciplinary connections, supported by a dedicated team of teachers and peers. The assessment system focuses on growth, providing actionable feedback that fosters mastery. This nurturing environment empowers students to pursue their passions and make meaningful contributions to society.
