Our Story

Founded in 1952 by Lachlan Reed and a dedicated group of individuals, InnerCity Tennis has evolved from its roots as Northwest Tennis Patrons to a vital organization focused on empowering inner-city youth through tennis. The mission is to develop and unleash the potential of youth on and off the court by fostering a supportive community.

Impact

InnerCity Tennis has positively impacted the lives of over 95,000 children, fostering friendships, building character, and creating opportunities for growth. Collaborating with schools and partners across Minneapolis, the organization addresses critical needs such as physical activity and mentorship.
