The Inn Between

Our Story

The Inn Between of Longmont was established in 1993 through the collaborative efforts of 23 community agencies dedicated to addressing homelessness in the St. Vrain Valley. Recognizing the urgent need for affordable housing and supportive services, the founders aimed to help individuals and families break the cycle of homelessness and build a brighter future. Initially operating under Family Extensions, The Inn began with just 31 units. Since receiving 501(c)(3) status in 1999, the organization has expanded to 88 units across six buildings, adapting to the growing needs of the community.

Impact

In 2023, The Inn Between provided a safe home for 243 individuals, including 106 children who received additional support. The organization distributed over $91,000 worth of food through on-site food pantries, ensuring that residents have access to essential resources.
