Our Story
The Inlandia Institute is a vibrant center for literary activity in the 29,000 square mile Inland Southern California region. Originating from the acclaimed anthology Inlandia: A Literary Journey through California’s Inland Empire, published in 2006, the Institute was established in 2007 to foster cultural programming that celebrates the region's literary heritage. Officially incorporated in 2009 and granted non-profit status in 2012, Inlandia is dedicated to recognizing, supporting, and expanding literary endeavors in all forms.
