Our Story
The Injured Police Officers Fund (IPOF) was established in October 1982 after the tragic shooting of LVMPD Motor Officer James MacLaren. This organization was created to alleviate the financial strain faced by police officers and their families in the wake of line of duty injuries or fatalities. Over the years, IPOF has expanded its reach to support various police departments across the Southern Nevada region.
Impact
IPOF provides crucial assistance for expenses not covered by Industrial Insurance, including reimbursement for damaged equipment and childcare costs for families of injured officers.
