Initiative for Medicines Access & Knowledge, known as I-MAK, was founded in 2006 to enhance global access to affordable, life-saving medicines. With nearly two decades of experience, I-MAK operates in 49 countries, advocating for health equity and challenging systemic injustices in drug development and access.

I-MAK has saved government health programs over $2 billion through its legal work and research, significantly lowering prices for HIV drugs in India and beyond, enabling low and middle-income countries to access essential generics.
