Indraloka Animal Sanctuary

Our Story

Founded in 2005 by Indra Lahiri, Indraloka Animal Sanctuary began its mission on 30 acres in Mehoopany, Pennsylvania, and expanded to nearly 100 acres in Dalton, PA in 2020. This sanctuary provides a peaceful haven for both humans and rescued farm animals, focusing on healing, education, and community empowerment.

Indraloka empowers and educates the community to build resilience, spread kindness, and embody compassion through interrelationships with both humans and animals. The sanctuary has successfully rescued numerous farm animals and offers educational programs that promote environmental stewardship and animal welfare.
