Our Story
Established 25 years ago, the Indo-American Senior Citizen Center of New York addresses the unique needs of senior citizens, particularly from the Indian immigrant community. The Center provides a welcoming platform for seniors to connect, socialize, and enjoy life, combating isolation and promoting graceful aging.
Impact
With membership growing from over 500 to nearly 1,700, the Center has significantly improved its financial standing, boasting a net worth exceeding half a million dollars. It has successfully organized numerous events, including weekly Zoom meetings and in-person celebrations, ensuring seniors remain engaged and connected, especially during the pandemic.
