Our Story

The Indigenous Peoples Power Project is dedicated to empowering Indigenous communities through nonviolent direct action training. Since its inception in 2004, IP3 has transitioned from a project of the Ruckus Society to an independent nonprofit in 2020, focusing on environmental justice and cultural preservation.

Our Impact

IP3 has successfully trained numerous Indigenous communities, enabling them to advocate for their rights and protect their homelands. Notably, the organization played a crucial role in the largest dam removal in U.S. history, allowing salmon to return to their natural habitats.
