Our Story

Founded in 1972 by Ben Mordecai, Greg Poggi, and Ed Stern, the Indiana Repertory Theatre has become a cornerstone of cultural life in Indiana. As the largest fully professional resident not-for-profit theatre in the state, IRT offers over 100,000 live performances each season, enriching the lives of audiences and students alike.
