Our Story
The Indiana Council on Educating Students of Color (ICESC) was founded by dedicated educators and community activists in Indiana. This nonprofit organization is committed to collaborating with parents and students to create educational opportunities that foster academic success for students of color throughout the African Diaspora.
Impact
ICESC has made a significant difference by implementing after-school literacy programs that have transformed the report card grades of participating schools from 'D' and 'F' to 'A' and 'B'. Over the years, 630 students across Indiana have benefited from these initiatives, enhancing their literacy skills and educational outcomes.
