Our Story

The Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide was founded in 2001 with a mission to prevent abuse and suicide among youth in our communities. With nearly two decades of experience, the organization provides evidence-based programming that educates both youth and adults, empowering them to recognize, react, and access appropriate resources for help.

Impact

Each school year, the Center reaches over 70,000 students across 105 schools in 26 districts throughout 8 Central Indiana counties. Additionally, nearly 1,500 adults are educated annually on how to respond responsibly to youth abuse and suicide, fostering circles of safety for every young person.
