In early 2013, the Indian River Lacrosse Association was formed to enhance lacrosse opportunities in Indian River County. Through a collaborative effort with local government and dedicated volunteers, four new multi-purpose fields were established, opening in August 2013. These fields now serve as a vibrant hub for hundreds of children passionate about lacrosse and other recreational sports.
The Indian River Lacrosse Association is committed to promoting the growth and development of lacrosse for student athletes, regardless of their financial background. This initiative fosters sportsmanship, character, self-confidence, leadership, and responsibility among young athletes.
