Our Story

The Indian Cultural Organization (ICO) has been a beacon of cultural resilience in Northern California since 1983, led by the Winnemem Wintu Tribe.

Impact

Significant strides have been made in salmon restoration, including historic agreements with NOAA and CDFW to reintroduce winter run Chinook salmon to the McCloud River.
