The Independent Living Center of Southern California was founded in 1976 by a dedicated group of advocates, including Norma Jean Vescovo, Darrell McDaniel, Lou Nau, and Bob Campbell. Their mission was to address the needs of individuals with disabilities, ensuring that everyone has access to essential services.
