Our Story

Independence For Veterans was founded by Stacia McDonough in honor of her late husband, Vietnam veteran John E. McDonough. This organization is dedicated to providing vital support to U.S. Armed Forces veterans, focusing on clothing, food, toiletries, and housing for homeless veterans.

Since January 1, 2024, Independence For Veterans has hand-delivered over $538,540 worth of essential items to veterans in need, tackling the pressing issue of homelessness among veterans.
