Founded in January 2018 by Marianne Chapin, the organization began its journey with a focus on providing high-intensity boxing programs tailored for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease. The passion ignited by a young woman seeking help led to the establishment of the first non-contact boxing program in the area, Rock Steady Boxing New Smyrna Beach.

Since its inception, In This Corner has expanded its reach, offering a variety of programs including yoga, dance classes, and support groups, all designed to enhance the quality of life for individuals with neurological conditions. The organization has grown into a vibrant community, fostering independence and engagement among its members.
