In 2017, a group of passionate women in Annapolis, Maryland, came together to create a unique philanthropic initiative. Inspired by a similar movement in Cincinnati, Ohio, they envisioned a way to mobilize women to make a significant local impact. The concept was simple yet powerful: recruit 100 women to each donate $1,000, pooling their resources to fund transformative grants for local nonprofits. This initiative has sparked the growth of over 60 Impact100 chapters worldwide, each dedicated to fostering community change.
