Our Story

Imani's Safehouse Inc. was founded by Jennifer (Noah Bat Sheva) Fecu, a BIPOC neurodivergent system-impacted queer Jewish female survivor. This organization emerged from the tragic loss of her daughter, Imani, highlighting the urgent need to address implicit bias and racial disparities in the healthcare system. Imani's Safehouse is dedicated to empowering intersectionality-impacted women, girls, and gender non-conforming individuals in New York.

Impact

Imani's Safehouse is committed to creating meaningful change and empowering marginalized communities by providing essential support, resources, and advocacy for those affected by gender violence and systemic inequities.
