Founded in 2005 by 101 dedicated women of Alpha Kappa Alpha, the Imani Pearls Community Development Foundation (IPCDF) is committed to building stronger, healthier neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side. Named after the Kwanza principle of Imani, meaning 'faith' in Swahili, IPCDF believes in the transformative power of a helping hand.
