Founded by Debra Stanley in 2003, Imani Unidad has dedicated over 20 years to addressing the gaps in services related to HIV, drug and substance abuse, and mental health. This organization humanizes the societal challenges faced by marginalized communities, providing compassionate and holistic support. With a mission to infuse social justice into mental, social, and behavioral health services, Imani Unidad places a strong emphasis on the Black community.
Each year, Imani Unidad distributes over 5,500 harm reduction supplies, conducts over 100 Peer 2 Peer meetings, and administers more than 200 HIV and HCV tests, making a significant difference in the lives of those served.
