About The Imagine Ministry

Founded in April 2008 in Raleigh, North Carolina, The Imagine Ministry is a faith-based organization dedicated to engaging communities for the glory of God. The ministry began its impactful journey by adopting projects aimed at changing lives for Jesus Christ, particularly in Nicaragua.

Our Story

Shortly after its inception, the founding director was called to serve in Nicaragua, leading to the establishment of a board and a strategic ministry plan. By the end of 2008, The Imagine Ministry was raising funds to support a youth outreach initiative in a small, rural community in Nicaragua. Under the leadership of Executive Director Coburn Murray, strong relationships were built with the residents of Los Brasiles, Nicaragua.

In 2009, The Imagine Ministry purchased property in Los Brasiles and began construction on a feeding center, which has since become a cornerstone of the community. The ministry has facilitated over 30 short-term mission teams from churches across America, providing essential resources and ongoing financial support that have significantly impacted the lives of Nicaraguans.

Impact

The Imagine Ministry has successfully led numerous mission trips, fostering a discipleship model through hands-on service and community engagement. The establishment of a preschool, feeding program, and a safe space for school-aged children has transformed lives and provided hope for a brighter future.
