Imagine Art Inc is dedicated to empowering artists with disabilities, transforming them into leaders of cultural change. Since 1996, the Fine Arts Studio has provided no-cost access to professional space, materials, and artistic direction. Artists engage in various mediums, including painting, ceramics, mixed media, and textiles, supported by AmeriCorps Members who serve as Artists in Residence. This unique program not only fosters creativity but also equips artists with job readiness skills, enabling them to create cohesive bodies of work for exhibition in our gallery.

Creating Community Impact

Through innovative programs like the Medicaid Waiver and Peer Support initiatives, Imagine Art empowers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD/DD) to thrive in their communities. The Live+Make model demonstrates how affordable housing can be anchored by creative programming, further enhancing community engagement.
