The Illinois Special Education Charter Cooperative (ISECC) was established to provide comprehensive special education services for students with disabilities attending member charter schools. Formed in response to legal changes requiring charter schools to employ full-time special education directors, ISECC made history on February 11, 2021, as the first cooperative of its kind in Illinois.
ISECC is dedicated to improving the quality and consistency of special education services, ensuring equitable educational opportunities for diverse learners across its member schools.
