Founded in May 2016 in Douglasville, GA, Ijaw Women of America Inc. brings together Ijaw women from around the world. With a mission to preserve their heritage and advocate for their rights, IWA has grown to over 150 members dedicated to addressing the challenges faced by Ijaw women, particularly those related to oil exploitation in Nigeria.
