These activities include: Fostering the general advancement of research learning teaching and practice in the field of family business; Developing and improving its members' capabilities for the instruction and research in the area of family business; Encouraging the extension and unification of knowledge pertaining to family businesses around the world; Developing and presenting public discussion groups forums panels lectures and similar programs in the area of family business; Promoting and exchanging ideas among academics business practitioners and advisors in the field of family business; and Encouraging high ethical standards in the conduct of research on family businesses.
